What is ZUZA?
ZUZA is a magnetic stand that sticks to your front doorframe, plus a free app that counts how long your phone waits there. You walk in, place the phone, and get on with your evening. It is sold at zuzadoor.com (https://zuzadoor.com/en).
How does ZUZA work?
Stick the stand on your doorframe at hand height. When you come home, place your phone on it and walk in. The app counts how long the phone stays there. When you take the phone, the count stops.
What does ZUZA measure?
Dock time: how long your phone rests on the stand at the door. That is the only thing it measures, on every phone.
Which phones work with ZUZA?
iPhone and Android, as long as the phone has a magnetic case (MagSafe or a magnetic ring). The app is free.
Does ZUZA charge the phone or keep it from me?
No to both. ZUZA does not charge the phone, and it never keeps the phone from you. You can take it at any moment. The count stops, and that is all.
How do I install ZUZA on my doorframe? Will the adhesive hold?
Peel and stick: the stand uses 3M adhesive, so there is no drilling and no wiring. Place it at hand height, next to the door you come in through.
What does the ZUZA app collect about me?
Very little. The app has no account, no notifications, no location tracking, no ads and no analytics. It stores dock time only.
